Original Recipe:
CREAMY TOMATO SALMON WITH SPAGHETTI from Kitchen Sanctuary
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 brown onion, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 red pepper, chopped
2 pieces of boneless salmon
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. tomato puree
½ tsp dried thyme
1 tsp coconut sugar
3 tbsp. whole fat milk
cooked spaghetti
cheddar cheese to serve
Method:
1. Cook the spaghetti following the instruction on the package.
2. Pan fry the onions until turning brown.
3. Add the garlic and red pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add the salmon then pour in the tin of chopped tomatoes and tomato puree, thyme and sugar. Turn the heat up to high until it starts to bubble, turn the heat down to simmer the salmon for about 8 min.
5. When the salmon is done, move the salmon to a plate. Take away its bone and skin if necessary.
6. Blend half of the sauce with the milk. Put back on the heat.
7. Stir in the spaghetti.
8. Grate some cheese and serve!
